Ellery 2021

Have you ever said to yourself, “How did I get so lucky?” That was going through my head as I was taking Ellery’s pictures earlier in August. I had Ellery as a first grader, and that adorable little 7 year-old grew up to be a lovely young woman. I’m certain you will agree after looking through all her beautiful pictures!

I was a bit nervous we were in for bad weather the day of her main photo shoot, but the rain stayed south and we just dealt with super overcast skies. That didn’t stop us from getting some lovely pictures. Ellery did a fabulous job with her poses and followed all my prompts perfectly. She made posing look so easy!

During Ellery’s prom dress session, she was in true model-form. She was glowing! I couldn’t believe her confidence, and she knocked that part of her session out of the park! After the dress shots, we went back to my house for studio pictures with Shiloh, her cat. Poor Shiloh was a little timid, but I love how the bond between them shows through Ellery’s pictures!

I know this school year is bound to be a bit crazy with our current pandemic, but I know you will put your best foot forward and make the most of it. Live out your dreams and make this year count!
