A week before this family session, I went out to the family farm to scout out some spots and to see where the best light would be. I love taking pictures out in the country because there are always really neat places for backgrounds! Fast forward a week to the day of the photo shoot, and I wasn’t even sure we were going to be able to get it in. It was rainy and dreary that morning, so we pushed the time back slightly in hopes the weather might cooperate. Thankfully the rain stopped! Overcast, dark, and windy weather was not ideal, but when you have family coming from a distance, you figure out how to make it work! My whole plan for backgrounds changed because of the available light, but as you can tell from the pictures, that didn’t stop us from getting some terrific images! Flexibility was the key that day, and everyone was so great about being ready when their turn was next. The little boys were so much fun to watch interact, and they got plenty of running time during our time together. The round swing under the tree was just put in recently, and I envision lots of hours in the future with those 3 tykes giggling and sharing stories as Grandma and Grandpa push away. Thanks for a fun morning Dengler clan. It was so great to see you all!
